        <h2>DETAILS</h2>The main focus of<i> Faith and Feminism Dialogues</i> will be to gather women of different races, ethnicities and backgrounds once a month at different locations throughout New York City in order to discuss the impact that their feminist principles have had on their faith, and vice versa. The theme of this evening will be Violence Against Women, with special guests photographer Paula Allen, poet Suher Hammad and drummers Paula Larke and Kim Nemoy. In conjunction with V-Day efforts in the aftermath of the Katrina tragedy, this is a special event to help Gods Prince of Protection Teaching Ministry in the 9th ward rebuild their church in Louisiana. V-Day, with the New York Road Runners, will host a 5K race in Prospect Park on June 27th to encourage runners from across the city to run to end violence against women.
